Screening of the film FREE RIDER by Jérôme Tanon.
Thursday 15 December, 7pm at the WhiteFrontier Taproom in Martigny
Synopsis:
Sam Anthamatten (skier) and Victor Delerue (snowboarder) exceed their limits once again in a wild expanse in Alaska. A bush pilot drops the small team of five people on a remote, unexplored glacier to ride spine walls in a series of more challenging climbs.
The narrator, Jérome Tanon, describes exactly what is happening with honesty and a touch of sarcasm. But above all, he wants to feel what it's like to be in that place, to understand what so-called "freeriders" are made of, and what might be the purpose of the famous "beauty of freeriding".
