We're WhiteFrontier. We're a brewery based in Martigny, Valais, Switzerland.
We brew beers to inspire, celebrate and bring together all those people who surpass themselves on a daily basis by exploring a new range of sensations to be experienced and shared.
We believe that all these unique moments, places and achievements deserve their own craft beer.
For the Taproom Whitefrontier in Martigny, we're looking for a cook.

  • Are you passionate about street food?
  • Do you like beer, especially craft beer?
  • Are you curious and like to get out of your comfort zone?
  • Are you autonomous and rigorous?
  • Are you creative and innovative (fermentation, etc.)?
  • Do you also happen to be a cook?

Refers to: Hospitality Manager

Skills required:

Kitchen :
  • Stock and order management
  • Compliance with HACCP standards
  • Dispatch of hot services
  • Stress management, ability to remain calm under pressure, good management of priorities
  • Passionate about cooking and curious
  • Ability to keep an overview while dealing with specific problems
  • Ability to cook a variety of dishes
  • Adaptability to proposed menus and new products
Human :
  • An owner's mentality
  • A fighter's mentality, proud to work for our brand
  • Pleasant, helpful and smiling by nature
  • Able to work as part of a varied and dynamic team
  • Attention to detail and willingness to provide the best possible service
  • Good personal hygiene and presentation

  • Work is based on objectives, projects and priorities, not schedules
  • Weekend and evening availability

Required training :

  • CFC or equivalent cook training

Desired professional experience :

  • Ideally 3 years' experience in the kitchen as chef/sous-chef/chef de partie.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve hot and cold dishes during kitchen opening hours
  • Prepare and order meals served when the kitchen is closed
  • Create costs and sales prices with the Hospitality Manager
  • Food ordering and raw materials inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards
  • Compliance with HACCP standards
  • Daily cleaning of the kitchen

Working 100% I Cook for MARTIGNY BREWING CO.
Weekly working hours are 42 hours. Overtime must be made up in days off. The employee is entitled to 5 weeks vacation per year.
