Today, we had the pleasure of brewing alongside Menno Olivier, a big name on the international craft beer scene. Founder of the legendary Brouwerij De Molen in the Netherlands and now based in Catalonia with his Menno Olivier Brewing project, Menno is renowned for his bold creations and barrel-aged beers.
This meeting gave rise to a brand new recipe: a barrel-aged beer with maple syrup. A rich and generous brew, which will now rest for many months in barrels to develop its full complexity.
We will have to wait at least nine months before we can taste it, but as always with barrel-aged beers, the wait is part of the experience.
